How we collect, use, store and protect the information you share with ATLAS Security — written to be read, not skimmed.
1. Resumen
ATLAS Security respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use atlassecuritys.com, submit an enquiry, request a quote or apply for a role with us, and how we use, store and protect that information.
It applies to website visitors, prospective and existing clients, and job applicants. Where a signed service agreement contains its own data processing terms, those terms apply to that contract.

- Contact and quote requests: name, email address, phone number, company, site location, service interest and the message or details you submit.
- Job applications: full name, email address, phone number, city, position applied for, experience level, availability, licence details, your covering message and any documents you attach (CV, certificates).
- Correspondence: the content of emails, messages and telephone notes we exchange with you.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, recorded when a form is submitted so we can identify and block abuse.
- Your browser user-agent string and the pages you visited, used for security and basic analytics.
- Your colour theme preference, stored locally in your browser (see section 9).

- To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and enter into service agreements with you.
- To assess, progress and communicate about job applications.
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot this website, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, insurance, licensing and regulatory obligations.
- To send service updates about existing contracts. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.

We process personal information on the following bases: contract (where processing is necessary to deliver services you or your organisation have requested), legitimate interests (operating and securing our business, responding to enquiries that do not yet lead to a contract), consent (where you have ticked a consent box, such as on our forms) and legal obligation (where the law requires it).

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who host our website, deliver our email and operate our systems, under contract and only to the extent required.
- Professional advisers such as our accountants, auditors and legal advisers, where necessary.
- Law enforcement and regulators where we are legally required to disclose it, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our personnel, clients or the public.
- Our personnel and subcontractors where an assignment requires it and the individual is bound by confidentiality obligations.

- Enquiries and quote requests are retained for up to 24 months from last contact.
- Job applications are retained for up to 12 months, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or you consent to longer retention.
- Client contract records are retained for the period required by law, insurance and licensing obligations.
- Uploaded documents are removed when no longer required for recruitment purposes.
7. Cómo Protegemos su Información
We apply a combination of technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS), server-side validation of every submission, restricted access to the database, rate limiting and spam protection on all forms, randomised filenames for uploaded files, execution disabled on the uploads directory, and server-side logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Documentos y Solicitudes Cargados
Files you attach to an application are stored in a restricted uploads directory with randomised filenames. Direct execution of uploaded files is blocked at the web server level. Only the Atlas recruitment team can access them. If your application is unsuccessful and you do not ask us to keep your details, we delete the uploaded documents and application record.
9. Cookies y Almacenamiento Local
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We use a single session cookie to protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and we store your light/dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. You can clear or block both in your browser settings without affecting the ability to use the site.
10. Sus Derechos
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, or receive a portable copy of your data. You also have the right to complain to the Texas Attorney General or the relevant supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been infringed.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at inquiries@atlassecuritys.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days.
11. Niños
Our website and services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Cambios a Esta Política
We review this policy regularly and will publish any material change on this page, updating the "last updated" date. Continuing to use the website after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
